Its quite often these days while sharing my photography with people I hear things like “I’d love to be able to take photos like that” or even the more direct “Can you show me how?”
So! I have decided to start sharing how I capture the images that I create in very small groups! We’ll cover the basics of camera operation and how to gain mastery over exposure control. The use of Polarising and ND filters, basic composition techniques, how to shoot for your editing workflow and a lot more! These will be in small groups of four people or less so that I can best give you the focus and attention required to get the best out of your shooting! More often than not, these will only two people at a time! Larger groups will be available for events with co-hosts.
Private one on one workshops are available by request. Can be tailored to what you want to specifically shoot.
This will be followed by a post processing walk through via Zoom or in person. Contact me to learn more!
2024 Landscape and Astro Workshops
As of April 2024 I will have relocated to the Otago region of the South Island. I intend on spending some time exploring the region before offering group workshops as a sole host. Still happy to do Private workshops of course, and expect to continue to offer group workshops with co-hosts who know the area better - see below!

Her passion is the night sky and astrophotography is her love and landscapes has become another favourite pastime. Rachel shoots with Canon and Kase Filters.
Jarred shoots on Fuji both film and digital, he brings a huge knowledge of technical gear and photography, his work is created with meticulous detail and planning, based in the North he ventures South on a regular basis to shoot the outdoors here and is stoked to be hosting with Rachel.
